1/14/2009 - Silhouette - Driven By Perfection The Silhouette is the synthesis of extraordinary styling, superb optical performance and Stonco’s renowned Contractor-Friendly features. The cut-off optical system is designed for outdoor applications where tight light control is needed to prevent glare and light trespass. The silhouette is part of a family of luminaires allowing you to maintain continuity throughout your entire site. Mounting arrangements include round or square poles, walls, with many other accessories to add more mounting flexibility. Silhouette has both contractor and luminaire friendly features. Its key slot design allows for single contractor to place and hook the fixture, leaving hands free for wiring. The swing-down ballast tray is quickly replaced. The Silhouette has one-piece die-cast aluminum housing for strength, Duraplex II polyester finish, and one piece hydro-formed reflector for cut-off lighting. The Silhouette also features tool-less entry for re-lamping, the lens frame opens quickly by releasing a stainless steel latch on the fixture front.
